Which Sunday ride group should I pick?

The Sunday club rides are split into groups of different abilities. One of the trickier aspects is to determine which group to join. It is recommended to pick a group you think will be below your ability level first time out. Average speed means there will be sections that are harder and faster than the average speed suggests. Once you find yourself at the front of your current group, more often than not, it is time to move to a faster group.

Moving between groups

Once you are comfortable in your group, or regularly riding at the front of your group, then it may be time to consider moving up a group. Just let the ride leader of your chosen group know that you wish to give them a try and they will look out for you.  Similarly, you can always move down a group if you haven’t ridden for a while!
